Roosebeck Vihuela 6-course - Maple/Mahogany *Blemished
BLEMISHED: The body is made with alternating staves of maple & mahogany on sides & back in a matte finish. The soundboard is spruce. The neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard. The frets on the neck are nylon, there are three sheesam frets on the spruce soundboard. The tuning pegs are mahogany. It has six courses, five of which are two strings each, with the first course being a single string (courses 1-4 nylgut and courses 5-6 nylgut & phosphor bronze wound). The bridge has a mahogany base with an ebony top; the ornate mahogany mustache stands out against the light spruce soundboard. It has one sound hole in the center of the soundboard, which is exceptionally ornate, a 4-layer deep parchment style rosette.
Suggested tuning (low to high) is G, C, F, A, D, G (range G2-G4). Includes a well-padded gig bag with double ended zipper opening on three sides for full open lid. There is a pocket, a padded hand grip and shoulder strap. The overall outside of gig bag is 39"L X 5”H X 18” W.

There is no warranty on strings. Manufacturers recommend that you change the strings every 3-4 months. It is always a good idea to keep an extra set of stings to replace any that may break. You should always wipe down your strings with a clean dry cloth after use. If you store your instrument, you should consider changing the strings when you pick it up again.
What is BLEMISHED?
Our product codes ending in "-1(S)" or "-2(S)" are blemished. These products are new and unused with superficial blemishes that may include, blisters in the finish, scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, rust or pitting on metals, imperfect glazes, non-structural repairs such as putty in nail holes, or other surface marks. A "-1(S)" product has minor blemishes and a "-2(S)" product has moderate blemishes and/or minor repairs. The irregularity does not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument.
Product codes ending in "-3(S)" and "-4(S)" are also new and unused, but came to us needing repairs. If it's a "-3(S)," the product has been repaired, but if it's a "-4(S)," it will still require significant repairs when received by the customer.
